Anne McCaffrey - Update 2nd February 2010: We regret that Anne McCaffrey will be unable to appear at Epic Con due to unforeseen medical reasons. We all wish her the best of luck in her recovery. Michael Carroll - A computer programmer in the ninties Michael Carroll started out writing in his spare time. Former editor of the Irish Science Fiction Association magazine FTL and Irish Writers' Union newsletter Final Draft, he now writes fulltime and has published a number of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Romance novels in Ireland, the UK and the US. His work has also been translated into French, German, Italian, Swedish and Polish. Juliet E. McKenna - Interested in folk tales and myths from an early age, Juliet McKenna studied Classics in college when she wasn't busy gaming or practicing Aikido. Her writing grew from RPG backstories to entire fantasy worlds, finally resulting in Thief's Gambit, her first novel. She has since followed with 9 more novels in 3 series set in her world of Einarinn. Aidan O' Reilly and Emily Duffy, society alumi, will also be giving talks so check back soon for more details. |
